2017 NC State Tournament - Out of Town Players-Guest Information
PTIA (Piedmont Triad International Airport) is approximately 35 minutes / 35 miles to Econo Lodge, 2133 W. Hanford Rd. Burlington, NC 27215. This is an ideal travel time and could expand to one hour if during rush hours or heavy traffic. I will pick you up or try to arrange transportation at PTIA Thursday, 5/18/17 just tell me when you expect to arrive and your flight information. You also can take a shuttle, taxi, or rental to Econo Lodge from Airport, by driving. If you drive take a right out of PTIA on Bryan Blvd onto I-73 South (Greensboro/Winston-Salem) then East on I-40 / I-85 (Burlington), Then take exit # 145 you'll see hotel marquee.
You may also wish to Call Uber... www.uber.com/ride/ setup account on smart phone, click your location, ride, time, rate, & see picture of your driver & vehicle. Airport to Econo $35-$50 depends on time & date, (late at night on a holiday weekend cost more).

Of course set up departure for Saturday or Sunday. We usually finish on Saturday around 5:00pm. You need 3 hours to travel back to GBO and check-in, so you won’t be rushed or miss your flight.
As for food or places to eat, see page on web advertising this tournament from last year or read results and it is listed there. Get with me or another player at lunch time, we allow an hour for lunch, plenty of nearby restaurants also check out schedule posted on event calendar which will be the same as last year.
